Creating an event or a program might be easy. The challenge usually comes from how the event feels engaging and memorable.
The event runs smoothly, the venue is full, food and beverages are everywhere, yet the atmosphere feels flat, and people leave without remembering much.
A photo booth changes this dynamic.
The event organizer doesn’t need to convince people to take a photo in the photo booth. The participants already understand how it works. Taking a photo has already become a habit. And with a photo booth, people will even have more desire to capture the moments with their friends.
This is why photo booths work so well as an engagement tool. They do not interrupt the event. Photo booths automatically attract people to capture the moment and share it socially.
Case Study: Creating a Memorable Internal Event in Singapore.
The Problem:
A client approached iKen Design to support their internal event. Their goal was to boost the employees’ morale and encourage interaction among employees.
They wanted an activity that was:
- Easy to participate
- All personalities can join
- Fun without feeling forced
- Memorable beyond the event day.
They were thinking about creating some games, but they thought that games required time, explanation, and confidence for the employees. Some employees might want to participate voluntarily, but others would avoid it completely.
The Experience Designed by iKen Design
iKen Design understood that the challenge was to create engagement among the employees without any pressure. So, iKen Design created a photo booth experience called “Snap. Laugh. Keep.”
The idea was simple. We wanted an interaction that was effortless and enjoyable.
Employees were guided through a three-pose challenge:
- A normal pose
- A fund or exaggerated pose
- A group or victory pose
iKen Design also provided a photographer on standby to guide each session. There were also props to enhance the pose.
And after each session, the employees were given the instant photo strips, and there was a QR code provided to download the photos and the GIF.
What Happened On-Site
The photo booth felt like it was a social space, not a pressured activity.
Employees returned multiple times with different colleagues, and some of them were forming a small group spontaneously. And the client’s goal was fulfilled: to create an interaction without pressure.
After the event:
- Photo strips appeared on desks
- Photos were shared in internal chats and on their own social media
- Employees talked about moments
We focused on human behaviour and experience. The client asked for an engagement, and we created an experience so that the engagement would be created naturally.
AI Photo Booths and Lucky Draw Printing – The Next Level of Event Engagement in Singapore
AI Photo Booths: A Moment of Surprise and Excitement.
Do you want to turn yourself into a Ghibli or Pirates of the Caribbean character? Do you want to feel like you’re taking a photo in the Maldives? Or do you want to simply come to the event wearing a traditional Spanish outfit?
AI photo booths elevate the experience to the next level by adding a surprise.
After taking a photo, guests can select a theme, backdrop, or character. Their faces remain the same, but now they can see what it would look like if they took photos in different environments, outfits, or a visual style change. In seconds, the photo transforms into a completely new version of the same moment without needing costume changes and heavy props.
And instead of becoming a celebrity or someone else, our AI Photo Booth ensures that the guests still recognise themselves. This keeps the experience playful, personal, and comfortable for all the guests.
This creates chain reactions. People laugh, share it with their friends, and convince their friends’ group to try the same.
At iKen Design, we provide an AI photo booth in Singapore to feel fun, not technical. It urges people to feel the moment. The technology stays in the background, while the surprise, laughter, and shared reactions stay front and centre.
Lucky Draw Printing: Rewarding Their Engagement
After taking a photo, what’s next? Of course, they will take the printed photo, post it to social media, and take it home.
But what if we add the urgency to take a photo with Lucky Draw Printing?
Lucky Draw Printing creates more motivation to participate. With this, people will have two things: an experience to remember and a chance to win a gift.
In practice, the printed photo can also function as a lucky draw entry. Each print may come with a unique number or detachable coupon. Winners are announced on-site through lucky draw number calls or selected later through a physical draw and contacted for redemption.
Guests take photos at the booth to stand a chance to win prizes. When social sharing is part of the entry requirement, participation increases naturally.
This works because:
- Guests already want the photo
- Sharing feels organic, not promotional
- The brand gains exposure through real experiences
Instead of asking guests to follow, like, or post, the activity gives them a reason to participate willingly.
This combination of AI photo booths and lucky draw printing transforms photo-taking from a fun activity into a strategic engagement tool.
